This blog offers you reading recommendations from around Pinal County. Staff members and volunteers from around the county let you know what they’ve loved lately and what they’re reading now.
You can also find information on the Pinal County Library District’s collection of Book Club Kits. For each kit we provide reviews, links to discussion questions, and more. We welcome comments from everyone, so be sure to tell us if you loved a book or loathed it.
More about our Book Clubs and Kits:
If you’re looking to join a book club contact your library to find out about local events or join us over at Goodreads for online book discussions. If you’re interested in starting your own book club – check out our Book Club Resources page. Several libraries hold book discussions around the county, so call your nearest library to find out more about their next book club meeting.
Each of our Book Club Kits contains a Reading Guide and multiple copies of the selected book. The number of copies varies (5-10 copies) based on the book. Each kit can be checked out for six (6) weeks and may be renewed if there are no holds. If you need assistance obtaining additional copies of the book, please contact your local library.
Kits are housed at the District Office (PCLD) and Apache Junction Public Library (AJPL); however, anyone with an affiliate library card can place a hold and check-out the kits from any Pinal County Affiliate Library.
Take a look at this document to learn how-to place holds.
Contact your Pinal County Affiliate library if you need further assistance or have any questions regarding our book club kits.
